Thank you..... I was hoping for better, but the hummingbird bird was a distance away, just happened to look up and see a tiny flaw in the branch... the red circle is where he was in the tree

 

That's a great shot at that distance.

 

In case I haven't bored people on here with bumblebee pics ;-) They're just so accommodating.

Those are carpenter bees they eat your house up.

 

I currently have that problem with them on my front porch

I couldn't live with only 300mm lolol, but I'm guessing everything closer prolly takes some pretty damn good pics compared to mine.. maybe one day I'll be able to get a 2nd camera.... here's to hoping lol

 

I got my DSLR with 28-300 zoom and 46MP sensor because I realized that many of my shots are within maybe 150 feet. The higher resolution on the sensor helps overcome the short zoom. But that zoom on the P900 sure comes in handy.

 

Thats exactly why I want another camera, better quality, close range
