That would makes sense since I got the warning that it would not fit. Most of my issues are with the rear brakes and it looks like the rears are the same. I could be wrong.

Finally got a brand new TPMS sensor from Discount tire. One of them went out months ago and that light was so in your face. They used a generic brand ( Made in Germany) and say it's good for upto 6 years.
Took 15 mins in and out. One less light on that damn dash.

I typically don't like aftermarket tail lights but these really go well with the 40yr anniversary styling stripes!

Remounted the skid plate and oil plug door after repainting the trail rash.
    Lubed the propeller shafts.
Touched up the Woolwax on the jack points and a few other spots while I was underneath.
Washed, waxed, and washed the windows.

    It's been a long day.

I pulled all 4 wheels cleaned them up and took them for a fresh spin balance. Since I had them off I painted/coated the frame and many other parts with some POR15. I'm waiting for some wool-wax I ordered to spray-into the frame to get ready for winter and all the nasty shit they spray on our roads around here.

Do any of you take your electrical connections apart and load them up with dielectric grease to help protect things from the salt and chemicals they use?

What’s up Kevin, How are you? You still have your 4runner? Thanks for the compliment. After having my tundra pro for 2 and half years I just don’t need that size of a truck. I sold it privately and came back. I just like the 4runner so much better and it’s fits me better. Also I can borrow both of my friends open trailer if I need to. So need to have a truck.

I added one today after removing my sleeping platform and reinstalling the little angled piece with the tie-down points. My wife has had one in her Outback for five years and she likes it.

I also did some more WoolWax touch-up underneath.

Did a mud flap delete and swapped the tailgate strap to one that matches the head rest grab handles I put on

I scored this basket off of marketplace for $85, normally $200, and it was still brand new in box. Built the whole thing and 84” was just too long, so I removed one of the extensions and now it’s a much better fit at roughly 5’x3’. I was only going to install it for camping trips but after installing it for the first time, it’s just going to live up there. Too much of a hassle to get it on there.

Here’s how long it was before pulling one of the extensions.

Installed arb extended rear differential breather line, installed new pcv valve, and did fender liner mod for my 285s that rubbed in reverse with full cut. Was a good day. Going off roading on Sunday and it's been raining here in Florida so I'm all set.

Here are pics. 1st - mud flap delete. 2nd - head rest grab handles. 3rd - hatch strap (with what looks like a bit of beagle puke on the hatch cover that I missed after our last car ride). I got the grab handles and hatch strap from 4runnerlifestyle - they come in a lot of different colors. I think mine are called black widow. Got the rear ARK mud flap delete from them as well

Good job has me working from home as of 30-Aug-2023.Yep 63,4++ mi now. Depending on my Co. decision on my remote position in Dec. If they keep me on I'll be looking for new TDR Pro.(ain't paying $0.01 over MSRP or I won't be buying one). Still wish they'd bring back FJ's. Loved my 08 + 12. Still get up to Famous Reading Out doors every once in a while riding ATV. Sold boat so have more weekend free time!(wife wasn't happy, but understood my reason)

    Oooh look, another mod.....
    This doesn't technically count as a mod/add-on, I guess it's a de-mod:

I sold the OEM tires that came with my truck to a local guy; for $500. Since the Falken's I bought were just over $1k, I can recoup half of that cost.

The FJ40 was available (until last year) in the UAE and other Arab/Asian countries. I've heard of some people importing them to the U.S. and getting top dollar for them.

I've always wanted to own one, but I want new, not new-used. If they ever bring it back to the U.S., I'll be alllllll over it..
