I had to pay for it because it came with it done already. I wouldn't have gotten ice cap color and had to take what the dealership offered me. 159 bucks extra and I planned on doing it myself. Oh well...

The longest drive from TN to AZ while towing the boat took 34 hours and much, much more gas than anticipated. I was able to tow 6’x12’ enclosed uhaul in 29 hours, but there was not nearly as much wind as this past trip. This trip I was battling 20mph headwinds for hours, so with the Yakima 16 skybox and the boat, the mpg’s dipped into the single digits, making it the worst I’ve ever seen. Turns out the boat is much heavier than I thought by 800lbs so in reality with the gear it’s closer to 3700lbs. Usually I get around 15-16 mpg’s while towing the boat at the same speeds as this trip, but with the wind and the roof pod it became a thirsty and very long drive.

All said and done I’m glad the boat, truck, and myself made it safely without issues! I’m looking forward to having the boat out here for the winter and fishing some new lakes! Now it’s time to reorganize the garage because I was too exhausted to do that last night!

A word to the wise for anyone else wanting to order these - order from Amazon Prime instead of from cupholderhero.com. You'll get them much quicker.

Discovered today that the passenger side central piece of weatherstripping for the roof has blown off down the highway somewhere, so, I've got another section ordered.

Victory 4x4 rear hatch Molle panel installed. Small bags added for camping/EDC. Will experiment with setup over time. Followed their video and it was easy.

Nope. They're somewhere in Colorado, per tracking. The purchase on cupholderhero.com apparently went through some outfit called Shopify (unbeknownst to me until I got the order confirmation), and lo and behold, Amazon got involved in the delivery, but it's not the usual Amazon delivery. It is somehow mixed with USPS, and is leaving me wondering if I'll ever get my order. I already contacted cupholderhero.com, and they told me I have to wait another 3 business days to not have my order, then they'll send a replacement.

I had the same thing when ordered on their website and received them I think within like 7 business days or so.

It's just me. I got too used to free Prime shipping arriving in 1-2 days. I'll live until these arrive.

It did surprise me when tracking showed shipped from Iowa. Their website says they are in Chandler, AZ, and I figured a couple of days from AZ to NM...

They probably have them made somewhere where it is cheaper to make them, but ordering them from Amazon makes more sense since it takes less time. Amazon warehouses are literally everywhere....

This weekend I will do some research about the hood scoop decal. Do you know know anything about it?

What is the reason for the F’d up skid plate bolts you guys seem to be finding? Is it happening because it’s difficult to install with just one guy at the dealer?

One of the best mods i have ever done, makes dropping the skid almost fun. The reason for the f'ed up bolts is laziness and impact guns.

Stock skid plates are not difficult to install, and I take mine off all the time. There is nothing magical about the bolts, threads, or skidplates. But, a little bit of time is necessary to do it right.

My guess is that the f’ups are because the person doing the work is

    A) not quite familiar with “concept” of cross-threading and over-tightening bolts.

    Or

    B) Doesn't take the time to do it right. Either because it really exceeds the time they are allotted to do it right, they personally don’t care, or they think the owner won’t care or ever know (probably most owners dont actually care, in reality).

Removed rear sway bar. With the eibach shocks and dobs coils you can barely tell i removed it. The ride is so much smoother and there's just a hint of a little extra body roll. But still is more stable then it was with the oem suspension.

Pretty Stock except for Sherpa Crestone Roof Rack with 44" Extreme LED X6S Slim Light Bar, RCI 5 degree Sliders with Top Plates, General Grabber ATX 265/70R/17.
New shoes, General Grabber ATX in 265 E Load. I have white letters inside but might reverse it on the next rotation. So far doesnt feel too different or heavy, similar to stock but maybe a little more grip. I'll have to see how they are at highway speeds. Discount Tire set the PSI to 35 psi, this seems like a good pressure based on what I've read on the forum? I like how AT tires, even at stock size, just changes the 4Rs looks compared to the stock tires.PXL_20221015_142741426~2.jpg PXL_20221015_143056790~3.jpg

Don’t need to…yet. The stuff in the small bags isn’t too heavy, but I can tell the struts won’t hold a lot more.
