I installed the fogs. I can see that it does not fit flush but its fine..It does look better then the stock fogs. I was not sure if I insert those 2 brackets where the inner brackets of the stock fogs uses.. It did fit but not fully so I did not insert it in there. Hope I installed it correctly.lol

Are you talking about the two little arms opposite of the arms you screw down? Those are supposed to slide into slots.

Nice looks good! Especially on a black 4Runner. See what I mean about the gap? It doesn't look out of place at all.

The HID's are super easy. Its all plug and play, and the relays are not used. The only "hard" part is drilling the dust cap. I used silicone sealant on the wiring going through the dust cap to make sure nothing would get in.

Does the 5000k give a crisp white? You notice any blue hue?

There is a noticeable blue hue on startup, and the most faint hint of blue warmed up. They should pretty much be white after about 60 seconds.

Either tomorrow or Saturday I will install them. Did you use the 3mm tape that the ballasts came with?

Nice that's exactly what I did.

I had to adjust my fogs slightly up.

Question about LED foglight bulbs. The stock halogens are 19w. However, most of the replacement LEDs on ebay and other sites are 50w or 80w. Will it cause any harm to switch to a greater wattage bulb since it is a LED???
    Thanks

Don't bother with Ebay LED's. Get yourself some Morimoto XB's for 130.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just want to switch for a LED bulb for about $30.

Well they're going to have horrible light output and glare. So you're throwing away 30 bucks, on a $40k vehicle.

    Thanks for ur opinion.
Anyways, back to my original question. Would the higher watt LED bulb harm the existing system running the 19watt factory halogen bulb?
