So far the wife’s 4R runs great on a tune. The downside is the limited ECU IDs available. VF Tuner needs to obtain ECUs and hard wire into them in order to provide more IDs.

Currently pulling a consistent 20+ mpg on her 2018 and it takes much less pedal to get moving.

    I can’t disappoint the members!!

I bought this 4R with 49k on it.. in 3 years, only 30k added to it. It’s never leaving!!

    I hope so!

Teton Workshop came in the mail today. Of course I threw them on as soon as I got home from work.

Are they gray or black? Or is that just the sun? Either way I love them. Let us know how hot they get. This is my concern with metal shifters. Thanks.

The centers is aluminum. The outer is something called G10, G10? Idk what that is but it does not exactly feel like metal, but the handles are heavy. They have a good feel, I like the heaviness. Actually they look grayish as in the installed pic.

According to the chart it doesn’t work plug and play for your SR5P. You’d need to do some wiring mods. Somewhere in that thread it’s described.

    All of them.
G10 is a fiber poly material. A lot of knives us it for handles. Very grippy and holds up really really well. Easy to clean to.

Did Shafer trail and Potash trail out of Canyonlands NP today. Amazing day! But basically I got it dusty. Now it needs a wash tonight or tomorrow morning before getting back on the road.

Haha....I bought mine from someone who placed the order last fall and only had to wait 2 months. Not patient enough for the straight factory order wait.

looks very nice. Does the knob on transfer case stick interfere with shifting into low range? Do your knuckles hit the center console?

Got the Transfer case skid installed today...and for one that seemed like it should've been so easy turned into a major pain in the ass. Nothing seemed like it would line up properly. Finally got it, but my God that was more trouble than it was worth!

I also was hoping to put on my Front Timbren bump stops....and found out that I have nothing large enough to fit around the stock ones in order to remove them!

I'd been looking at the Gobi rack for over a year, was actually about to buy a Victory rack when I found someone selling their Gobi they ordered 7 months ago but decided they didn't want it. Bought it for less than retail, only waited a couple months to get it and picked it up from the local off road store they ordered it to.

Sadly, the one I have didn't open wide enough to fit around it. I'm going to see about picking up a larger one tomorrow that hopefully will.

After our adventure last week and me never being happy, I ordered ToyTec HD Springs for the front and rear the day we got home from OBX. Talked to Andrew there to make sure I was chosing the right springs and then ordered, they arrived and since I was a mess from cutting the grass with 80% humidity decided to drag the boy to the hangar and install the springs
