Once I read ceramic coating was better for vehicles that do not get excessively dirty often and are subject to scratches, I knew is wasn't doing that to Macy (my pro which arrives Nov. 17, I will spend that money on recovery equipment.

o_O If you are planning on recovery equipment that would imply some type of off roading. That will almost always cause some damage (trail stripes, flying rocks etc...).
The first thing we did to ours was to Xpel wrap it & ceramic coat that. We have one small scratch where a large rock hit the front bumper. Ours spends 80% on concrete but the danger is real! Plus it gives it that "glass" look!
    Ryan.

It really helps with the water and the ice; not to mention it helps with the dirt situation as well as it doesn’t stick as much.

Not sure how concerned you are with weight and ride quality, but E-rated tires are heavy and will make you feel more of the road. That doesn't bother some people, but for others it's a concern.

I have General Grabber™ A/Tx SL rating not E. I am super happy so quiet on road and good in wet. No idea with Cooper.

    All good.

You could definitely argue better handling (quicker response), but you'll certainly feel more of the road with E-rated tires.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I really like my Falkens and have not had any of the balancing issues others have had. I had Generals on my '05 Grand Cherokee and had no complaints about those either. That was a full time 4WD system though so it's not a completely fair comparison. They were very quiet on road though.

Both tires look nice. Between the two I'd probably go with the less expensive one.

Disposal fee is only like $3-$5 per tire...at least that's the price in my area.

23,000 miles in... I'm very happy with my Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I don't think they make them in a 275 though.

The Coopers will be better in wet conditions with those directional rain grooves. The Grabbers will perform very similarly to a BFG KO2.

Kevin be careful on the Falkens if you choose them. I returned my 3 sets could not get them balanced. The coopers look good!!

I see you're in Ohio, how are the Ridge Grapplers in snow?
I'm real close to getting a set in 285/70R17.

We rarely get snow in S. Missouri but I have family up in Michigan & Illinois.

The only nose dive I notice with my Eibach suspension is during panic braking.
    For everyday stopping it's gone.

Sounds good. Just curious why your not going with 285’s unless I missed one of your post I did not see. Your going with 275’s correct. Will you be lifted high enough for 285’s?

Added a AVS bugflector and then picked up some 285/70/17 Cooper Evolution MTs.

Next will be rock sliders and TRD grille.
