My dealership straight up told me, even if the aftermarket stuff installed by Toyota dealer, the factory warranty on related components are voided. Parts like cv, axle boots, ball joints, etc.. Here in Denver CO it not uncommon dealership install spacer lifts on 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra. Y'day I check a 6th gen 2025 4Runner with spacer lift installed by the dealer. For some reason if the shock leaked I highly doubt the spacer manufacturer would take responsibility about the shock leak. It would be out of customers pocket.

If I was in the same situation I would go to a Toyota specialized 4x4. Throw the wheel spacers in trash. Since the front shocks are shot replace a 4 shocks with or without lift with a reputable brand. Eg Bilstien5100 as entry level or if you want to go Bilstien6112+5160 combo / Ironman FCP or even high end King, Fox, OME BP51, etc..

Other related parts should only have a warranty voided IF the installed item caused the failure......
Not just because something was added like a 1-2" lift that doesn't change the angle of your CV drastically.

TRD Pros come with a 1" lift on the front, does Toyota void its own warranty when Toyota installs said lift?
    I don't think so!

Here's the response I got from the Toyota dealership about the aftermarket lifts they install.

This is true ONLY if your installed part caused the other failure.

Bought a metric tap and die set as I’m on travel…figure in my downtime I’ll begin rear bumper install prep and chase out all of the 8mm threaded locations along the entire frame, on both sides, and surface treat everything with Corrosion-X.

I pulled the trigger and waited almost seven months for it (Dissent Off-road Modular Rear Bumper.) This is one nicely engineered and built piece of kit, well worth the wait!

Bonus is that these guys are only about an hour and a half away so I saved on shipping and picked it up in person.

Over the last week or so…

Finally wired up winch with new cables
Need to eventually reposition/lil tidy up one of them but works great
Gonna spool it out today when the truck gets back here…
    IMG_6435.jpgFrom installing new SPCs
Kinda pushing it trying to do certain jobs on the mud/rock driveway so new-to-me shop is helping out

Was also able to utilize this organizer even with the radio in there
Originally it was meant to fit “within” the internals of center console but just doesn’t fit
    IMG_6323.jpg

    Side note:
My alignment wasn’t too far off after 255/80s with no spidertrax anymore n the truck has driven very comfortably…excited to see how all this works out

    Yes…n no
But disclaimer 1st…my terminology n relay of info is subpar at best, n SPC has been amazing at helping out n I won’t do them justice

When this all started, new tires, alignment issue, damaged UCAs, etc
There were more posts of SPC concerns n posts of NEW SPCs action on the forum
Thats when I reached out to SPC for info…

Now from then n in between multiple garages, what I’ve gathered from the source is that YES these are the new ones but they are not DONE yet
SPC is working on perfecting their bushing or bearing…I believe bearings which will be able to adapt into UCAs
On that note, they’ve made these so that all parts are interchangeable so you can update what you have
Again, they are really trying to make it all 100% n my contact over there has been extremely open n honest
Based on what I have now compared to the ones being removed…I’m still getting upgraded bushings n bearings

    These are the ZERO MAINTENANCE

I contemplated which suspension setup is next on the list for the 200th time, cross comparing the same three contenders I’ve done previously!

Dobinsons IMS, Eibach 2R and 6112/5160, in that order. I don’t want to deal with rebuilding every 50k, even though I just installed a new 24 Fox Pro setup a few months back.

I know I’d really like something adjustable to fine tune compression and rebound to my liking and have thought about Dobs MMR.

Point me to the group buy so I can think about it even more!

No pics, but took the female parental unit to get some small home improvement stuff. On the plus side, it's nice to know that pine straw can be vacuumed out of the back area without too much hassle.

Sounds like a solid set of choices! I hear you about the rebuild schedule, my Fox’s are at 52K and are beginning to squeak in the rear so I’ve begun thinking about whether to rebuild or replace. Since I’m considering moving towards tall skinny’s it makes more sense to just go all in and upgrade the suspension altogether. The Eibach spring upgrade was a perfect solution at the time but recently an opportunity to go all in has surfaced.

Here’s the webpage for the DK Group Buy sale.
