You mentioned stupid funny shows, and King of the Hill was the first one I thought of, which led to the Boomhauer image and an attempt at writing as he would speak.

I was trying to be funny... evidently I didn't try hard enough. :^)

Follow up post to my “blacked out” my Limited’s chrome: got my taillights today and installed, so now complete. Reposting the other views.

First impressions on the drive home is that the ride up front is certainly a bit less boaty, less brake dive but I’m not sure if it’s a notable difference. It’ll probably be a while before we know if it helps my SO’s rare motion sickness (happens on certain roads we encounter rarely) I did hit a short, bumpy dirt road on the way back and it was fine so I’m not worried about light trail duty, I’d say there’s less rocking at least?

If anyone’s curious, it was roughly $750 out the door. $200 for both shocks, $460 for labor (including alignment), $35 for shop supplies, $55 tax.

I don’t know if I’ll do the rear shocks anytime soon. One side is weeping a smidge but without any further info or funny business, I’ll procrastinate on that and it’ll be DIY if it’s the last thing I do!

At first glance I thought you said "to Correct & swerve!" I need my afternoon coffee....

 

Interestingly enough, I almost had a @Borracho Loco incident today. Luckily was driving the wife's JGC with BSM so it alerted me that someone was changing lanes into me as I was changing lanes. I swear they didn't have a turn signal on when I checked over the shoulder, but they did when they ended up in that lane, and didn't turn it off for a bit. They later changed lanes again, with no signal. I'm convinced they turned it on when they almost hit me to be like "look, my signal WAS on". Luckily the BSM went off and was able to swerve back into my lane.

 

The only KFC in my town shut down a few years ago, just reopened in a new and improved location like a phoenix from the ashes..a delicious phoenix.
Drove the 4R there for the family variety bucket!


And stopped at the beer store crucial supplies
chopping exhaust pipe tonight so it exits to the side and down.
