Any 2023 TRD Pro owners running Eibach lift springs?

    I’ll also add, if you go Offroad… was happy with performance. Seem to have good artulation. Absolutely no issues. I was on a stretchy part of Mineral Creek that was quite off camber.. made it though just fine. A jeep rolled there this past week.

    really appreciate the feedback! My plan would be to go with 285 Toyo SL load tires. They are extremely lite for a 285. Only 46-47 pounds. Believe that should help with the ride as well. I am going to give the Westcott lift a shot I think. See how it goes. Other cars are corvettes and a Camaro so I am thinking the stiffer ride probably won’t be so bad for me. Hopefully. Lol

    I just got home from riding in a 2024 TRD Pro with the Westcott lift and Toyo AT3 in 285 SL. This is what I am going to install in 2 weeks. I was very impressed with the ride for the money. I feel it firmed it up just a little and helped a little with the dive, but did not change the overall feel too much. I was able to also put about 250# in the back and it did not drop that much and that was a concern I had. I figure if I decide it is not for me, I can all pull the Westcott lift. I was going back and forth on different spring combos, as I don't want nose high or squat in the rear and I don't want too stiff of a ride. I just have not found any locals running different spring combos with the Fox Suspension.

    I did ride in another 4Runner with the Westcott Lift but the tires were E rated. I did not like the ride as it was too stiff.

    For those of you running the Toyo AT3 285 SL, what pressures are you running on the street? My hope is I can air down to 17 off road, but I am using the factory TRD Pro wheels.

    Curious, what load range are your tires? From all I have read, that seems to make a huge difference in ride firmness.

    Mickeythompsons Baja boss SL. Only 4lbs heavier than the 265’s. They ride really good and no road noise. I had the 265’s and sold them to my friend to get my 285’s.

    Nice. Not bad at all. Keeping the weight down on the tires hopefully helps keep the truck from losing a lot of its power. I may look in to those as well.

    Thanks! I definitely did not feel any power loss with my 285’s. I loved them my 265’s in the snow got to test them out. So I figured the 285’s will do just fine. Better than the Nitto ridge grapplers.

    Thank you! Only did the front doors which I think is 35% to match the factory. It’s pretty close matching the rear doors and back window.

    It’s an ARB. It seems most of brands are very similar for this style . I like their customer service so I try to go with them as much as I can.

    I will be definitely will be keeping an eye on this thread as this is the path moving forward for my Pro…well, I think it was at least lol. I’m on the fence now as the more I research the more I feel like I do not want to mess with the original geometry and nature of the “position sensitive” design of our Internal Bypass Fox shocks. I really do love the oem valving and spring rate as I feel it’s very responsive and compliant at running moderate trails at some speed. Ugh…not sure what I’m gonna settle on.

    After a while and still seeing a very slight reverse rake I went ahead and got the 2” icon rear springs. All is right with the world!

    Pros sit pretty level, since they are raised 1" in the front over standard 4runner. So that makes sense 2" in the rear to match the 2" front lift. But with 2" of lift. Extended brake lines and bump stops might be necessary.

    This is what I’ve gathered as well and have been reading up on…essentially 2”-3” rear lift falls in the range of requiring a pan-hard correction kit to keep your rear solid axle cycling correctly…as well as extended bumps and break lines. Lots of things to consider if done correctly. Love to see what everyone decides to do.

    The Pro’s actually still have a good bit of rake on them actually. Believe mine still has right an inch of rake even with the front lift.

    I removed mine with the westcott lift. I have a new set of Rockbloz to add did not put them on yet. Was in talking it over with my mechanic Joseph thinking I’m adding the Eibach 21-22 springs. He does not think I should do the 23-24 springs. He knows how anal I’am LOL.

    It’s strange to see that some run the Westcott but still keep the front mudflaps. And then some remove. Westcott says you have no choice. They would get ripped off at full lock. I am guessing with the Eibach it would still be the same problem?

    This is why most stay with the Pro wheel because it’s only 7 inches and cause of the off set and why westcott says 285’s will clear. I spoke to one of the techs there and he said when you run the SCS wheels which are -10 off set and 8.5 inch wheel it’s a hit or Miss with rubbing. Yes you get a better aggressive look with the stance but more chance of tire rub. So for my situation is more difficult then just staying with the Pro wheel. But I feel after having the Eibach springs on my 20 Pro and SCS wheels my tires will clear and not rub and also ran 285’s.

    So I specifically asked Westcott about rubbing on the mudflaps with a 24 Pro and staying with the Pro wheels. Said it didn’t matter. Front flaps would have to come off. Who knows. Maybe they would clear fine. I think I may be back towards leaning eibach front with icon springs in the rear. 285 Toyo AT3’s

    What's your wheel offset?



    Are front mudflaps necessary? Look a couple post ahead. I posted pictures of mine with flaps.

    I honestly just like the look with the flaps on. I would be keeping my stock TRD Pro rims. It’s strange because it’s almost a 50/50 split on those rims and the Westcott lift. Lol. Half keep the front flaps and half don’t. Was just surprised when Westcott themselves said they absolutely have to come off. After seeing some videos online I honestly don’t even think I would miss them if they had to go. Will probably pull the trigger and then just live with the outcome.

    It's hit or miss really. You might be able to keep them, you may just have to trim them.

    Update: After adding Apex recovery points, the front dropped a bit more than I liked with the 21-22 Eibach Pro springs on my 24'. Installed the 23-24 springs and the ride is nice and firm. Measurements now from center of wheel to wheel well lip is 23" front; 23 5/8" rear.
