Anyone have issues with 4Runnerlifestyle.com?

I'm not saying this to be a smart ass or a dick, but I don't know how a business (big or small) would be able to sell product and not be able to exchange or refund items they sold.

If I had a store and sold you a TV, and upon getting home you found that the TV didn't work, it would be on me to either give you your money back or exchange the TV. I don't keep the money you gave me and say "sorry I'll call Sony/LG/whatever and let you know if I hear back."

If a business can't deliver a product, they don't get to just keep the customer's money.

Other than my last purchase from them that I wrote about in my post above, they delivered everything I ordered without issue. The shipping was slow, but that didn't bother me. They lost me when they sold me a light that didn't work, and then didn't let me exchange it or send it back for a refund.

 

Don’t feel bad I’m having an issue to try exchange my 3rd brake to yotaexpedition. Asking me for a video and pics installed. It’s an intermittent problem. When I connect the plug the oem snaps right in. But the aftermarket don't seem to snap in as good causing connection issue.

 

I've always said I've had no issues before with 4RunnerLifestyle I have a lot of their sht, I even rock one of their brand decals above my engine skid on that plastic.

But I currently am getting f'd around in my diode dynamics order. Passed customs, arrived at facility, arrived at local post office, then said DELIVERED on multiple sources. Except it was not. No front door photo evidence, and now it's disappeared. Slowly painfully dealing with support.

Dispute it with your credit card company and let them deal with these fools. Once they get enough chargebacks it will hit them in the books and then see how they react to us consumers. Enough is enough with these bullshit companies who can't provide the product but instead give us lip service!!

Based on these reviews would most certainly avoid them.

I know multiple returns can kill an online business.

Just got this email confirmation, they're re-shipping the diode dynamics order over again. God knows what happened to the first order, it said it made it all the way to my city post office lol.

Funny though I did receive my other items in the order; first the KC Wire Hiders (came from KC direct), and last night I recieved my Rago Fabrication Ditch Light Extension Brackets!!

 

So I've never had a prob with 4RunnerLifestyle, until this latest hiccup, and hell I live up in Canada - so probably a higher likelihood for mistakes.
They have resolved the shipping issue, so I'd say it's safe to order from them. Imho

 

I hope you receive your product that never arrived. They will give you all the lip service you want to hear until you go away. They will create a bogus shipping label that will sit for weeks on end without movement and say your item has shipped. Hopefully this isn't the case for you but more often than not it usually is. Many have learned from using this company and will NEVER use them again!!

 

Maybe you didn't read what I've written properly, but I've ordered hundreds of dollars worth and many orders from 4Runner lifestyle.com to Canada this is the first hiccup and within this hiccup two out of the three items on the order arrived in good time. So I don't fully agree with you

 

I did read it and can comprehend a simple post. If you want to support a business that screws people over on a consistent basis then go for it as it's your money. Best of luck with current and future orders as I will never support a business who runs a shady operation and gives lip service when confronted.

 

So I ordered my Sherpa from them. I probably won't ever use them again. I verified the rack was in stock prior to ordering which it was. I placed my order and 4 business days went by. I sent an email asking when my order was shipping and got the usual BS of they have to many orders blah blah blah. I was told it would ship out next day. 2 more days went by and I inquired again. They gave me the same bs and said they would get it out as soon as possible. I asked to please cancel my order and magically my rack shipped later that day.

They just seem to not have any sense of urgency. Super nice folks but business sucks

 

Honestly, I’ve had no problems with them because I ordered knowing they’re just the middle man & I’ve worked in mail order & its fucking nutz. I always recommend ordering locally - GL!!

I didn't mean to imply that you were siding with them; my post sounded a lot more pissy than I actually am, so my apologies if it came off that way.

I was just trying to state that regardless if you're a small or big business, you have to still meet you're end of every deal. I'm all for helping small businesses to the point where I'll even pay a little higher price, but I still expect to get what I ordered.

And yeah I agree that too many returns can be bad for an online business.

 

I got my new lights from the manufacture yesterday. So from my first email to the manufacture to me getting a replacement was 5 days (including a weekend in those 5). I still have not heard back from 4runnerlifestyle since they told me they followed up with the manufacture, and I contacted them a week before I just emailed the light company myself.

Why not just buy directly from the manufacturer? Super easy and direct shipping.

Thanks bud, unfortunate country to live in indeed (I am a dual USA citizen tho). One of the top 5 worst parts of living in Canada is McDonald's stopped carrying honey mustard years ago. Truly unbelievable, and deeply angers me...who keeps hot mustard and sh*tty BBQ sauce stocked, but drops honey mustard

 

I bought Dr. KDSS and RCI skid plates directly and got it within a week. Order direct, cut the middle man.

Is it common for these guys just to not answer for days? They sent me a different part than I ordered and I want a refund lol.

 

I ordered a few things when I first picked up my ‘23 ORP last summer. Luckily, despite me being a noob, the items I ordered were all delivered in a timely fashion. Some were big ticket items like a Prinsu rack and a pair of Baja Squadrons to replace my fog lights and Sports for ditch lights. Bought a few smaller things in the weeks after that and never had any issue. In late October, I ordered Cali Raised Molle side panels and top shelf. Their website claimed it was in stock, so I assumed should be no more than 10 days before they arrive. Well, after many emails, I finally received the Molle Panels in early February. During that time, I ordered some smaller items and had issues. Meso Customs interior door handles, one came cracked. Had to wait about 3 weeks for Meso to send them directly to me. Another order was for climate and radio knobs overlays to black out the controls. Box came with one item missing. I had to explain multiple times, send photos, and literally chase them down. I remember emailing that I have spent thousands of dollars with their company, why would I try to beat them out of $40 for replace my climate control knobs. One positive came from all of this though. While waiting 3+ months for the Molle Panels, I did a mock order on Cali Raised website and they claimed they were in stock and can be delivered inside a week or so. They were also charging about $60 less than 4Runner Lifestyle. I contacted 4R Lifestyle and they matched and gave me a credit. I used that tonight and will probably never return back. And for the record, items can be found cheaper elsewhere. They charge $500+ for Max Trax MKII for a set. I found them on multiple sites for $300. I picked up 4 boards almost for what they charge for a pair.

 

that happened to me. kinda twice. Once i got my money back the other time they never replied, never got my money back.

What's really great is (as I predicted, and has happened to me many a time with purchases), they lost my order for some diode dynamics and sent another but now the first original shipment is out for delivery haha

Yeah gave up. it was a black out kit for the rear hatch. One of the letters was wrong. I emailed them. heard nothing back. said fuck it I'll get a black out kit from somewhere else and never did. Reminds me, i need to find a black out kit for the hatch....

I couldnt return it because most of the letters were on/used. Had to use a heat gun to get them off
