what is the actual height of the BFG's on the wheels all aired up ? I have had many different sizes of the BFG's and they have never been the advertised height . (285x70x17=32.8" tall)

was going to put my winter package on today - nomads and blizzaks but found out stock lug nuts won’t work with them

Winter mode 265 blizzaks wirh 17x8.5 et 0 nomad wheels and summer mode 17x7 TrD wheels with 285 K02s

 

New to me T4R RWC 20 x 9 +18 245/55/20
Going to switch out to the TRD OEM running boards when it warms up here.
Looking for 9" wide by -25 or more o/s rim upgrade.

Not decided on diameter yet but love this look and poke. Someone here perhaps chime in please..plate is from New York.

as for your post, for what it's worth here's a photo of the poke on my 9" wheels at -32mm offset. (except 4R is Offroad trim, and 17" wheels, plus a 3/2 suspension lift)

Absolutely love the stance. Just the perfect amount of poke.
It does slightly rub only on one side in full lock reverse. Easy to remedy.

Resurrecting your old post @Yotaholic, but I'm curious about how much it took to fit those. That's what I'm putting on this week. I expect to drive a hammer for a while and BMC, but was there anything else?

 

Stock wheels can take 285/75/R17s. To have no rubbing, you need BMC, mud flaps removed, and Viper cut.

 

Sweet. Thank you! I got Method 703's, 0 offset. Already removed flaps, will do my own BMC, and was planning the viper cut in the future anyway. And the 3" lift is going in first. I do wonder if I'll need to consider adjusting the top of the well or put in an extended bumpstop. We shall see. Thanks again!

 

You absolutely need the Viper cut to be able to turn at full flex. It is cheap, removes rubbing, lets you put a foot on the boulders, and makes your truck look awesome.

 

Nice. You're on path to success if your willing to do those things. I recommend chopping your fender liner too when viper cutting. I sprayed my pink washer fluid black, and a tank skid plate (or relocation kit) are options too. I have 3' lift too, extended bump stops is something that should def be high on our list to save the strut and such.
