It does, but the limiting factor isn’t the suspension when it comes to tires, which is what he’s getting at.

You could cram huge tires with only a lift, but the minute the tire has to move as a a result of hitting a bump, you have issues.

Now, if you aren’t worried about bigger tires and only the bumper, it might be more effective to find an aftermarket bumper.

I say this because it’s not the center that looks to be the issue on the limited, but the corners…and even the corners on the non-limited bumper can be an issue if you wheel it hard enough.

But…I’m not sure how many options are there for the Limited.

 

Limited's are limited, pun intended. I think a spacer lift is fine, but OEM sized tires with a better off road capabilities would have helped significantly. It was a minor hole, but it showed its face real quick how deceiving even a little puddle can be.
When I was cleaning the undercarriage, I noticed that it was packed deep into frame holes and such. So, I hit the bottom, or high centered it.
But, it was fun, interesting.

 

Spacers only if you want to keep XREAS. Otherwise, you can use anything that fits the other trims.

 

Going to keep XRAES till it starts leaking. It rides nice..

 

Tires make a huge difference. Some AT's have pretty aggressive sidewall tread that would be beneficial in mud. But, if you really want to play in the mud, nothing will work like a real MT.

OTOH, once you're sitting on the frame, it doesn't matter what tires you have.

 

There's plenty of options for spacers. That's what I'd do in your situation.

 

Oh, some BFG KO2s will take you places that you have no business going, even in the stock size. Trust me!
