the connections to the alternator are a buss bar design, not a loop terminal or lug. The reason is for compact fitment, that said the routing around the alternator would be meh if changed. When the alternator gets upgraded one day I may consider it.

also the aggravation of having to fuse all the positive leads as done with the factory clamp.

lastly no need, iirc it’s a 3ft run of 4ga…. It has the capability of carrying a ton of current in that short of run mitigating any benefits of running 1/0 to reduce impedence. Upgrading the battery to chassis ground was warranted, but otherwise there is really no need for a big 3 in this specific application without a serious build. Remember in the 90s a car would have an 8ga (or worse 10/12 ga) for a ground, modern care demand more and therefore are built to a much higher electrical standard.

    Update:

had to take the elite out for now, the weight caused strain on the rack (as expected).

Hd1200/1 sitting in its place for now.

next phase will be the fall, big changes to the back.

Why do you think so? I mean other than there's not much activity and not many people really doing much.

Edit: checked your post history. I totally get it. Nothing too crazy going on here. I asked on reddit what the best rrunner forums were because this forums isn't all that active and someone said T4R. I went there and get bombarded by ads.

Reddit is pretty lame. It's just instagram.

Maybe some crazy 4x4 forums? I've looked around a little but not much.
