the meso customs ones are the best solution, but can never seem to find them in stock.

i wonder if these ebay covers might do the trick. they only cover the face of it though.

My factory radio was acting up for about a year. I finally got the dash kit to put in a decent replacement. Now I have to read the manual and learn how to use it.

 

I looked at those and was about to purchase till I seen that they were stick on vs clip on like MESO.

 

Added an additional USB charging port and battery voltage monitor

 

That's the only thing holding me back. 35 for stick on seems excessive, but might just have to pull the trigger since the MESO one is never in stock and apparently doesn't match the black of the door lock

 

Just got home Tuesday from another two week, 3700+ mile round trip to PA.

 

Wayyyyy too damn cold to do anything on it so I just put a few more miles on.

 

Went to work and found this beauty:

does anyone know a matte black coverings for "grey delete" for the interior 5th gen 4runner.. steering wheel, dash etc.. thanks!

 

Ordered a Dobinsons lift today, copying the set-up Chris in Milwaukee has on his rig. I may be waiting awhile as the distributor is currently out of stock.

I used to own a Hilux Surf but it wasn't as flashy as that one.

Loved that thing.

 

Installed the TRD Pro black hood scoop. Also painted the faux grill in the hood.

 

Got a box in from Diode Dynamics! Incredibly bright! I wish I would have done this a couple years ago.

One website says it’s compatible with 2010-2021… don’t know all the details on this screen but maybe

 

Tested out my new raingler net and played around with my Kelty tarp. Prepping for a month long trip after Christmas. Sunroof piece works perfect on the hitch rack until/if I ever get the sunroof insert for now that location is gonna house a 100w panel

With the help of my kids we installed a westin sportsman x grille guard on my 2022 sr5. Getting the bottom bolts out to start was the most difficult part. I hurt my back trying but my daughter was able to get them out with a breaker bar. Once they were out the install was easy. With my son and daughters help we got it done. It does not interfere with my cruise crash sensor. I was hoping it
wouldn't. I really like the look.

 

I think hitting it with some SEM trim paint may do the trick.

 

Traded in my Tacoma for a '22 TRD ORP with dealer installed Stage 3 Icon, UCA, etc full lift. Walked in and did NOT expect the lift to be what it was, installed correctly, or to be a reasonable price. AutoNation Toyota in Irvine is a solid dealer, I was very surprised. Gave me cost on the lift/wheels/tires, and a $3k markup (which eats me to my core, but in this SoCal market, is phenomenal especially on a car that is actually sitting in front of you), as well as $500 more than Carmax for my Tacoma, which ended up being what I paid for it. Super happy with the deal, super happy with the lift/tires/wheels. Can't wait to get it dirty.

So I had been experiencing shorts in my car and I narrowed it down to my Ironman winch. Well I worked with Ironman and they sent me a new winch controller. I removed the winch controller today and I took it apart and sure enough there was a crack in the control box and condensation was inside the box. I believe this is what caused it to fail…

under where the remote control connection is. This could have cause some funky problems:

The new control box I put liquid seal around everything. So hopefully this should work even if water gets inside.

 

Quick release solar panel mount using some quick fist minis

 

Added some weather stripping to some Plano boxes, cheap and should be really affective.
