So if the blue relay wire is the positive trigger wire for the relay that is going to terminal 85 on the relay block that is the only wire that will connect to your switch (Red 1) from the relay (and possibly the only wire needed to go through the firewall into the cab depending on your positive source connection point). The green wire on the switch will connect to a 3 amp fused positive source to power the relay coil. The black wire on the switch would go to a chassis ground point inside the cab, the last switch wire RED 2 for the backlighting is sort of optional. The switch will light up when engaged without RED 2 connected it but at night the switch writing will not be lit unless RED 2 is connected to a dimmer switch controlled dash lighting circuit.

Move the inverter switch down to the empty blank below (wires reach) and you will have three empty slots in a row for new switches.

So, the light bar didn't come with a wiring diagram?

If I recall correctly, our dash lights are either switched negative, or operate at a different voltage than the light bar switch. This makes it difficult to have the switch light up with the dash lights.

The switch will still light up when the light bar is on without the dash light input. I capped it off in mine.

Do you have a picture of the wire leads coming off the relay?

I can take one. Do you want a picture inside the cab or at the relay?

I replied before I noticed the diagram in post #19. I believe @ElectroBoy has you squared away.
