Tough tough call re: size of Toyo.
My buddy did the same lift and absolutely loves the 285’s. No cutting or rubbing.
However, I’ll prob stay stock size per recommendations on the TRD rims. Something about becoming an old man.

KO2’s look better on my old truck.8547AB76-4BED-41FD-AD6C-AB3F6F0085CB.jpg

What tire sizes is everyone running with the lift? Any other mods with the lift as well?

I got 265’s on mine. Might go bigger when these wear down. Relocated the front liners, trimmed some bumper and pushed in mud flaps.

BFG KO2 now have a C rated option for some sizes. I got 265/70/17 in C rated. I used to run wild peaks for the C rated but love the new KO2’s in the C rating

Finally installed the kit. Definitely agree that it rides MUCH better. No brake dive and body roll is significantly improved. Very happy with my purchase so far. 275/70 Wildpeaks on FN wheels.

I'd either ask for your money back on that one or have them re-do it for free.

I can't tell if they are incompetent, lazy, or dishonest.

The biggest change made was by 0.1 and they didn't even get your toe in spec. Caster numbers are way off from one another.

    Perhaps they need some direction?

Tell them you want the caster on both sides to match (or at least closer to one another) and you want it in the +4.5 range (I'm assuming you want your caster on the higher side since you bought high caster UCA's).

Then you want the toe and camber close to zero.

I new something was wrong. I even gave the the spec sheet that JBA gave me, will have to go back I have a year for them to get it right.

So I guess we figured out they are all three (incompetent, lazy, and dishonest).

Yes, go to another shop. Show them what you've done with the suspension upgrades and tell them what you're looking for. A competent shop should have no issue getting the specs close to what I mentioned above.

Update on the stage 1 kit, when I installed the kit I did the recommended front setting at the first clip thinking it would be more than enough but added a half inch corned spacer to the rear to get 1.5" in the rear but ended up with 2" instead. That resulted in a factory looking rake but lifted and wish I had done the second clip instead. I waited a few weeks to see if the rear would settle and it stayed the same. I was preparing for bigger tires from 265's so when I went to a shop to have my bmc done and I also had them change the clip setting. I had the second clip in mind but they encouraged the third clip instead as a buy once cry once and said f*** let's do it (thanks stellar built) and I was also going to upgrade UCA's anyway. Long story short, the rig looked exactly how I envisioned it when I first installed the lift after changing it to the third clip. Factory looking rake is gone and is completely leveled for now until I start adding weight to the front.

After reading pages and pages and pages on multiple forums I pulled the trigger and
just ordered the Pro kit stage 1 for my 13 SR5 2x4. I got them pre-assembled at 2.75. The trucks currently at 145,xxx miles And going to have my shop install the kit and check the to see if anything is needed to be replaced. I'm hoping to get away without uca but if I need then whats everyone's thoughts on Freedom Offroad. Also what else am I going to need?

Did you have any problems with reverse rake after installing the Eibach kit? I know some people are using stock or wheelers springs. Your rig looks great!

Thank you sir! I'm very happy with the setup.

No reverse rake at all for me. I'm also one of the lucky ones that didn't get any rubbing either, with stock UCA's and 285's.

This pic was when she was loaded down in the back for a family trip, and still no reverse rake.

Here's a question for those who would know - supposing I could find some in stock somewhere, from time to time I consider adding the Pro Truck springs to my setup to complete the stage 1 lift. My question is, what needs to be undone to remove the complete front strut & spring? I feel like I can get access to a spring compressor (not the 2-piece auto parts version), and would like to see what's involved. When I installed the Eibach struts, I used the no-compressor method, but that was a lot of work with my KDSS...maybe not so much since I already did it once...

Another question - does anyone else offer the same, or close to, size springs as Eibach's Pro Truck lift?

Some recent reports disclose the Eibach bushing on the mount is too small and although only a reported few millimeters many are recommending using washers to keep from bending the mount. It is reported that Eibach did not change the bushing of the FJ/4runner when the model changed in 2010. I have not seen a response from Eibach. Just FYI.

BS - see my response to his thread on the other board.
He needs to bolt that shit down. His video shows movement of the shock with only the lower bolt inserted not tightened down!!!

Wow shit moves when it's not tightened down...

Fyi, that was not this kit. Would be interested in your first hand knowledge and not propaganda.
