I took my front end off.
    IMG_20200825_082004.jpg
And welded up the SSO/AA Slimline Bumper
    IMG_20200826_142008_01.jpg
Its at powdercoating with my daughters Bud Built sliders.

The SSO stage 2 should be in soon.

The only problem now is the dash lights up like the Grisswalds at Christmas, and I get ten emails every time I move it because the radar is disconnected!

Love the raptor style lights - which did you get, and did you wire them directly to the cabin fuse box?

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
The TRD one doesn't weight 20 pounds less than stock, but it does weigh less. Interesting.

Thing is, it didn't make me think the truck got any faster. Just less restricted. Like when you press on the pedal and you expect something to happen but there's a hesitation in the system somewhere. Maybe even a forceful slowing down. Perhaps even herky-jerkyness. With the new exhaust, the hesitation seems to be reduced by a lot. I wouldn't describe it as an increase in speed, acceleration, whatever, but it does feel less restricted and as a result smoother to respond to the pedal. Whether it makes things faster or whatever is secondary to me. It's about the increase in smoothness, and it seems to be contributing to confidence to do things that would have been more difficult for the truck to handle in the past. One thing that I didn't do much of today was left turns at intersections between oncoming traffic. Once I do a few of those, I'll have an even better idea of what's going on.

awesome set up! What lights and mounts did you use for the rear led bars? I’d love to get something similar!

Dealer notified me the ETA for delivery from the factory is now Sept 3-5 instead of Sept 8-12. Good things happen to those who wait :)

Thank you. They add just a lil flare :)

I connected them directly to my driving lights so when my driving lights turn on they turn on. I honestly got them on Amazon, there's so many different options. Let me pull up my order and let you know!

So will they stay on when low beams turn on as well?

man, i have been reading this thread for days at no end already and I see a lot of conflicting info. Lots use the stock suspension with 275/70/17 Falken W AT3W - some say it rubs, some dont, so which one is it ? Can I do the 275 on a stock TOR or should I stay with the 265s? I'll keep the stock rims.

I ran 275 KO2s on stock suspension for 6 months. It may rub on the fender liner but it is a quick and easy fix

I think you get conflicting info because everyones alignment is a little different.

If you get 275's and you're rubbing on the mudflap (for example), have your caster pushed forward. If you're rubbing on the front fender liner, have it pushed back.

The lights are from Rough Country...stock mounts with a simple steel bar to bolt the mounts to through the bumper 'cover'.

    RearLightMounts.jpg

Same for the front 6" bars on the from bumper valance.

Ended up being FAR more stable than expected. If I didn't know better I would think they were mounted directly to the bumper they are that solid.

Added the insert for my hood today. It’s also at the shop for a new exhaust and a little dipping.

Couple appearance mods today. Picked this CF head unit surround up from @Living the dream a couple weeks ago, now installed:

    20200828_093552.jpg

No plans to add any more, just thought it went well with the carbon fiber shifter console. :)

Finished this project this morning - FJC auto shifter from Ebay. Trimmed 1/2" out of the middle, a little needle nose plier & dremel action, and voila! Matching AT & TC shift knobs:

Anyone know the size or where to get a switch blank for the USB/AUX hole in the console under the stereo/HVAC?

Installed LFD crossbars on my stock rail yesterday. Looks pretty good, will look even better when the 7/8 roof rack rail comes later in about a month.

    -Dipped the TE wheels
    -Magna flow added
    -K&N CAI added
    -Peddle commander added
-Found a matching headlight, so both now are stock black housing

Looks great!! Might be a silly question but do you need a rack to install one of the rooftop tents??
