I've become accustomed to all the detailed guides for doing anything to 4runners and Tacomas and now I really hate looking up guides for the LS430. It's almost like people that write anything over on the Lexus forum are deliberately vague. "unbolt 3 nuts and yank forward" is not helpful. Nor is "it'll only take 10 minutes".

But anyways check out these cute little coil overs. No kinds of beef going on here

Started at 10 am and just finished. I had to work for this crap. Rides surprisingly nice though.

Yep I did that already and knew I fucked up. There's two forms of adjustment though. But pretty much you just set the preload and then lower or raise the lower mount to wherever you like

Yes sir indeed sir. For my commuter.

I wasn't sure I'd like the green but it's not bad.

Round here gangsta is some old beat up Buick or Lexus SC on 24s. With some awful sounding subs in the back.

But yeah I think it's just a touch too low for me but I didn't want to adjust them again when they're just going to settle anyway

Starting to rust through at the mounts, they could be rebuilt but I still don't trust them

More or less the same cost as TC. Comparing $1500ish to $300ish

Might as well slap some poly bushings in stock arms then. And maybe weld on one of those TC lower arm skids?

I tried to get Jerry to do it but he said I run the risk of warping the arms because they're so thin

I wouldn't bother with LCA skids. The thing to worry about is where they mount to the frame, I know of a few Tacoma UCA's that have ripped off the bushing mounts. No bueno. @HHIRunner those TC arms are sex. And my buddy with the TC +2 kit, even moar sexes

That's exactly where I'm having the rust issues which is why I'm worried and need to do something ASAP. Also Aaron's rig is why I'm basing my dads Taco build off of
