Hello I'm having this problem on a 2017 4runner trd off road

    Dose anyone know how to fix this problem 4LO and the bottom 2 green lights are flashing and the traction control light is solid Screenshot_20240428-132135.png

    I think people have said this is the neutral switch or gear range sensor issue but I'm not sure. A deep scan from a capable reader will show you codes though. A generic CEL scanner won't do it.

    Also it
    No this code came on a week after we went to big bear California and used the 4x4 in the snow after we came out of the snow we parked and put the 4x4 shifter in to neutral

    Page 238 of your owner manual describes what the lights indicate when using 4WD. It explains what is a normal indication when in 4HI and 4LO.

    Now we are getting somewhere. The 4X4 shifter does not have a neutral.
    When coming out of 4HI, the truck should be moving (rolling) when shifting back to 2HI. If you shut the truck off before the truck completed the shift back into 2HI (indicated by all of those lights being OFF) then the ADD actuator might be out of position and that is why you have those indicator lights. I don't know if you can correct this without a trip to the dealer for correction.

    Maybe someone else can chime in to answer this.

    I suggest you read the owner manual regarding when and how to shift in and out of 4WD (assuming you haven't already done so). If you don't have the owner manual, it can be downloaded for free from Toyota in .pdf format.
