The Finished Build

I picked up this 2010 Limited a month ago, 1st pic, and thanks to all the info on here I was able to convert it to this. It already had the Bilstein struts and upper control arms. I added Dobinson's 3-inch springs in the front, 1 1/2 in the rear, sliders, and went up to 285's. I think this may be fun. . .

 

Nice looking rig. But don't ever forget: The first rule of "4Runner Club" is you're never finished with your build.

 

Is the passenger slider bent in over front door? Nice looking limited.

 

I guess that means it did it's job

 

Yes it did it's job if it was a hit saving body damage. Deformed tube would make me consider stronger slider if wheeling hard taking hits like that and skids.

 

The sliders were used, the ones I want are several weeks out. My build is for camping and exploring. I did hard core wheeling for years, now in my sixties, I just want enjoy the outdoors with my gal.

 

You picked a great platform to get you 80% anywhere in comfort with reliability. Especially if you did your time wheeling and can pick a good line.
