I just pulled into the driveway and turned the truck off to hear a sudden hissing that was a very clear spraying coolant leak from somewhere in the middle of the back of the motor. I couldn’t get a clear look at it spraying as it was hot, but anything in particular, hose or fitting, I should focus on that may have cracked? Thanks!

Most likely a cracked or split hose. Good luck in finding it and getting a replacement.

As stated could be a split or cracked hose, the heater hoses as well as a small bypass hose are back there

Hate to say it but another thing it could be a blown head gasket. My 95 did that years ago, leaked all the coolant out of the back of the block
