Didnt see a thread on this, but saw the Netflix documentary today. Ill avoid commentary on it, if you havent watched it. Lots of evil there....this thread in no way minimizes that. Just a side note.

But couldnt help but notice the 2006 Limited 4th gen 4runner. Apparently it was leased.

A few things I found interesting.

First, since it was hidden over a year and had cobwebs on it, found it interesting the the State PD was able to start it no issues one year later.

Also, not sure what happened after the ebay listing got cancelled, but the truck must be somewhere. Apparently people were willing to pay over $100000 for it. Which amazes me.

If I read that article correctly, he leased the 2006 4Runner in 2010? I didn't know you could lease a used car. (And am surprised an NFL player would go used?)

Yeah I thought that was odd too. Also went over the annual miles by a landslide.

Perhaps another reason to park it?

I wonder where it ended up after the story? Sold locally from the Clair? crushed?

I suspect the carfax report is interesting.

I'm surprised he could fit in a 4th gen 4Runner....especially if it had a sunroof!

Article from The Drive makes it sound like it was his.

"Hernandez first leased the Toyota from a Rhode Island car dealer in 2010 in exchange for promotional appearances"

I currently have it has 68k on it and still has finger print dusting on the sunglass holder. Mirrors were replaced but previous owners who got it at a police auction.
