    They will offer protection but if you get off camber in the rocks that's when their weakness will show. They will work great for high break over angles.

    I was wondering if RCI would think about producing Aluminum sliders with top plate.
    I have relatively light HREW steel sliders (from a different company) but still 100lbs per set, per website. Now I think based on my use I can get away with Aluminum sliders which seems 25lbs a side (by another company). I don't think I need hi-lift jack capability, I may find a longer bottle jack if I ever need. The scratches on my sliders have started some rust and may get serious if I don't paint / re-powdercoat. I may have questionable 1 or 2 bolts when I install last time after applying rust oleum.
