Hey everyone. Just bought a new to me 1995 4Runner/sequoia, which also is my first vehicle. I got it for a pretty good price, knowing that it needs some work. Currently dealing with the power windows not working.
The window motors and regulators work when the window is detached from the assembly, i think it’s the window that’s stiff in the tracks that’s the problem. Ive tried freeing it up with silicone lubricant and moving it back and fourth, still super stiff.
    Any ideas or advice?
    Thanks

Welcome. You have a 95 4Runner. Not a Sequoia. Are the tracks straight?

Thanks for the clarification, I was under the impression that it was a Sequoia/4Runner..

I’ll check the tracks with a straight edge and get back to you.

Wow, that’s a nice looking......whichever ! I’ve never seen that thing above the rear window, looks neat and almost like the new gens.

Thanks. I’ve been waiting for a long time to find a second gen without a rusty frame and body. I’m on the west coast so it’s quite an issue with most of the older ones.. This one has a few tiny rust holes on the bumper, and the bottom of the tailgate has some, otherwise it’s mint.

I was wrong, you actually do have a 4runner Sequoia Edition. Apparently they are kind of rare. They were only available in Canada, not in the US which is what threw me off. Sorry to mislead you.
