Anyone have a good solution for installing screens on windows + rear hatch for car camping?

I saw someone with a screen and round magnets on the corners around a door window.

I am looking into this as well. I like the idea of the sock like screens that slide over the rear passenger doors. Might have to resort to the magnet ones for the moon roof and rear hatch.

I tried the slip over the door type...does not provide enough of airflow to be an option in my opinion. I used a roll of non metal window screen. Cut to size and held on with strong neodymium magnets..used on doors and rear window. Works great and provides plenty of airflow, and a bug free interior.

I'm getting too old and feeble for camping anymore, but I helped teach a Jungle Ecology course in Belize and Guatemala and we just used mosquito nets. One guy didn't and he came back with screw worm! UGLY things!!!

We made our own. Bought a couple of yards of no-see-um screening and a few rolls of 1/2” strip magnets from Wal Mart. Nothing fancy but they work well.

I have these Gabbro ones from Amazon that are a great concept, but they leak though the door seal when it rains. I'm thinking about going homemade like @Justthemechanic and @Old goat .

The thing about the Gabbro ones is that they have a little awning, so you can keep the windows open when it rains. But, It ends up leaking in through the top of the door, so it doesn't really matter anyway. But, if I could figure out a way to make it not leak, it would be perfect.

I bought the luno ones and for me they don’t provide enough airflow. I really like the idea of the magnets and bugscreen material.

I made a bug screen for the sunroof using velcro, black duct tape and a wooden ruler. The sunroof can still slide open and closed - just can't close the sunshade when bug screen installed.

Skeeter beater ‘Yellowstone’ for back side windows (single screen) as opposed to sock for better air flow and Lunolife trunk window screen.

I like leaving my rear hatch open when tailgating/camping/hanging out. Has anyone created a bug screen to divide the rear trunk and rear seats?

I’ve seen privacy screens for front seats so you can sleep with more security from onlookers. May be able to make it work with some imagination. Or your next million dollar idea!
