Will adding rear 15mm spacer affect the alignment?

I just installed my Eibach stage 2 lift kit. I've adjusted the front of the truck to be even, and adjusted for the lean. The back still has 1/2" difference due to the gas tank, etc.

I've ordered the Dobinson rear 15mm spacer to fix the lean. (it won't be in for another week)

Question: If I get an alignment now will adding the rear 15mm spacer later affect the alignment? Trying to avoid paying unnecessarily on multiple alignments.

 

Want to know if it will affect rear and front axel alignment, or just the rear - camber, toe, thrust angle?

 

So I guess my question is will it effect both/either? IE. Will I need to get another alignment after the 15mm spacer goes in on the driver side. I'm assuming the answer to the question is yes based on your reply?

 

Me personally would wait for the install to be completed even though the alignment is front only.

But I have a small question. Wasn't the spring perch not adjusted for the eibach springs? I know some springs has left and right specific springs and I thought Eibach springs come with the spring perch instead of side specific springs?

 

Well alignments aren't just front only there's the angle of your rear axle and wheel toe. Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you lol, but agree you should def wait till the install is done if possible save that $

 

Lifting the rear only will reduce your caster. It may be a trivial amount if only adding 15mm but like others suggested, I would wait until you have it all completed.

To prove this out...If you exaggerate the lift, you will see that caster is reduced as the top of the front strut will rotate over the bottom as the rear is raised.

Again. Wait to install the spacers, then get it aligned.

But one of those isn't adjustable without aftermarket components, and the other isn't at all.

 

We're talking about an aftermarket setup, and I didn't mean that as two diff things. Thx for parachuting in with no useful information tho

 

You didn't mean them as two different things? LOL. So to start with, explain how rear toe is adjustable.
