    So I have a stock sr5 premium. When I lift it and switch to 285/70/17’s I’m going to keep the stock sr5 wheels on it. What size wheel spacer do I need for the wheels to be perfectly flush with the fenders? I know the 1.25” spidertraxx seem to be the the favorite but I don’t quite want them that far out.

    Couple of google searches gave me the following. 1.25" seems the standard in order to clear the stock studs

    This is true. Anything smaller than a 1.25" wheel spacer and the studs will stick out past the mating surface.

    1.25" is standard to clear the studs. Should be just about flush? Maybe a small bit of poke.

    Many wheels have cutouts between the lugs so It may or may not be a problem. I don't believe the factory spare has those cutouts though.
    If you want to run your spare you'd have to remove the wheel spacer. Which would be a pita on the side of a road...

    1.25" for the win.

    Hey OP
    1.25" Spidertrax probably don't stick out as far as you think. I have 285/70's on 0 offset wheel, but they're 9" wide.

    Sorry I could have been more clear.

    I was saying the 1.25" spacer clears the studs so it avoids this problem regardless of your wheel choice.

    A .75" or 1.00" spacer may work if your wheel has cutouts. But the factory spare does not have these cutouts. Running the spare (with a bolt on spacer <1.25") may require removing the spacer. Which is not ideal imo.
