    Hello. New here and looking for help.
    My son has a 2018 4runner SR5 premium
    Got him some ShrockWorks rock sliders for Christmas but may also splurge and get him new wheels (which he wants). Right now the 4runner has no modifications at all. the rock sliders will be the first. He likes the black TRD wheels (or aftermarket equivalent). I've read and read here and elsewhere on wheels/rims, sizes, offset, etc. I'm confused as all get out. Current tiers are going to stay (stock size Falken wildpeaks). So here's the question. If I got this right, TRD pro rims have a 4.0 offset.... I don't see any problem with that, but I want to give him the flexibility to move up in tire size if he wants to in the future in case he adds something like a 2" suspension lift (which has been mentioned). So with that, I have no idea what wheels/rims I should be looking at and I think I'd trust yall more than the guys down at discount tire.

    Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas

    You can run 285-295/70’s on the stock trd pro wheels no problem.

    With TRD Pro wheels you can go up size to 275 width max like 275/70/R17.

    Biggest tire you can go with stock 4Runner wheel is TRD Offroad wheel where you can go max 285 width like 285/70R17 or 285/75R17 (34in) tires.

    Specs from Tire manufacturers;
