What have you done to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?

For better or worse someone had to start it

 

They are not even in stock yet here around our Austin, TX region. I was just at our local ToJo dealer (Cedar Park Toyota) Wednesday, to buy an oil filter from parts dept. for my ‘22 T4R, and I went through the show room to say hi to our saleslady and I asked her when they expect to start getting the 6tb gen in. She said their best guess is Febuary or maybe March. Yes, she said “guess”. lol….

Are they starting to get some in where you live?

 

Also too early to sell a kidney in exchange for power seats and a sunroof?

 

I sold my 2018 Tacoma Off-Road in 2023 for $2000 less than I paid for it, my plan was to buy the 24 Tacoma Limited. After driving one I decided against it,especially after the price hike. I decided to get a 5th gen. I don’t think the 4runner is going to be much better than the Tacoma and I'm not paying the outrageous price hike. $12k more than a 24 Limited or Pro.

 

but at those trims you might get a spare tire, some composite under chassis covering for components, and if you play your cards right some running boards.

 

wow. Thats long ways away. Wonder if they have a wait list to buy them

 

I would imagine some dealers are waitlisting 2025 4Runners and pulling shenanigans like they did on the Land Cruiser and Lexus GX 550.

 

it takes about 6-8 weeks to ship it via RORO anyway from japan
