Just looking to see what aftermarket black lugs people are running, for factory rims. Picked up a set from jeffs... i think and they didn't last a year without rusting.

    Stock so far…..
I believe McGard makes the black nuts for Toyota. They definitely supply the locking nuts that often are installed by the dealers.
    High quality, will resist corrosion.

Look for different “combinations” on Amazon. Sometimes it’s cheaper to buy a 24-pack with the locking nuts and an extra pack of 4 or 6 than to buy 4-6 packs or 6-4 packs.
(This assumes you want 6 standard nuts/wheel, and are avoiding the hassle of the locking nuts.)

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.

I picked up the OEMs from a Toyota dealer on eBay. Fast and cheap.

I didn't have the black one's but I bought chrome one piece gorilla lugs for my 2nd gen Tacoma. Due to the two piece OEM design, the more abuse they got the worse they bulged from tire rotations etc. Here are the part numbers for the black one's.

    1.5" Long: 73138TBC
    1.85" Long: 73138TXLBC

OEM black for me, but of course they were much easier to find several months ago. Makes a huge difference on the TRD black wheels.

I bought mine from Discount Tire when they installed my tires into my rims. I have no idea what brand they are.

I still have my chrome OE lugs but am going to buy the OE black lugs. I have looked at aftermarket brands and it seems they all like to rust.

I'm still waiting on a set of black OEM lungs for my black TRD rims. The dealer has had them backordered for 2 months. Running the OEM silver ones for now on the black rims, but I'm not liking the look.

Don't waste your time with that dealership! Order online through a Toyota dealership and you will have them within a week.

Its a manufacturing issue. Not a dealer issue. Whichever Chinese slave camp that made them, is not currently making them.

I put in an order for the hell of it from a reputable Toyota dealership and would arrive on May 7th. Just saying it's the dealership not the manufacturer.

I'm sure theres more then one person that would be interested in a dealer that has a stock of them.

I've searched a few, including ebay for the hell of it. I'm not a fan of the 2 piece design so will purchase aftermarket, but i know others want them because "Toyota".

You get what you pay for. To each their own and best of luck finding the lugs you want.

Very cool! I'm gonna get some then. I don't want to wait til the stock nuts swell and deform, had that issue on my Tundra. Thanks for the input.
