*******Hi I found out what these hoses are, they are the FRONT DIFFERENTIAL VENT BREATHER hose OEM part number 41507-60151******

    Hi Everybody

I am new to this forum, previously I have used this forum a lot for troubleshooting. However this time I just couldn't find a related post. I have a 4th gen 2004 4Runner SR5 V6 1GR-FE with no mods. Recently was looking down into the engine bay and I found a couple of corroded lines (I have attached the pictures along with this post). I couldn't figure out which system these lines belong to. I peeked into the engine bay from underneath the radiator and found wherever the metal tubes extended out of the hose they had corroded extensively. I wanted to identify these tubes first before deciding whether it was safe to be driving the truck in this condition.

The lines emanate from the top of the front wheel arch as a Nylon and Rubber hose and then steel lines come out of the hose which have badly rusted.

IMG_20200706_141619.jpg These lines rust out of the rubber hose and I can't see where they lead to from underneath because of the splash guard/ plate. They do pass over the Power Steering Return Hoses but I can't see where they ultimately end up. Thanks in advance!IMG_20200706_141655.jpg IMG_20200706_141903.jpg IMG_20200706_142159.jpg IMG_20200706_142159.jpg
