What are 16" wheel options for my 2008 limited?

    OEM was 18", currently running 17", do I want to go to 16"?

    I think it's hard to get 16" that will fit the brakes on 4runner. 17" should give you plenty enough sidewall for off road though.

    Brake fitment can become an issue with 16" wheels, as @Ctreg mentioned. 17" wheels will fit all the brake options you might have and there is a much larger tire selection out there for 17s too.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
    I miss the days of 15" wheels with a 35/37 inch tire. Ahhh, the sidewall game was serious with those tires. As mentioned, now you have brakes getting in the way.

    It sure was nice seeing 8 - 12inches of sidewall on a truck/jeep.
