I recently replaced the front driver and passenger door speakers, and added vibration dampening. Since then I have had an intermittent issue where the truck will not unlock from the sensor on the driver's door handle. Locking works fine. This happens about 50% of the time, but when it does happen I need to unlock the truck from the key fob, or a different door. I've rechecked that everything is back in place on the door panel. Possibly related is that when locking the truck, sometimes there are two beeps, and sometimes only one beep. When there is only one "lock beep", unlocking from driver's door handle works. I'm just hoping someone might know what is going on.

Somewhere the actuation rods or cables are touching a fixed part of the door, or sound deadening, causing your issue. Double triple check as even the most minor resistance will cause this issue.

If the above suggestion doesn't work you may have to replace the actuator. My 2020 started doing what you describe and it was because of bad actuator

Your actuator, didnt just "go out"...... Ill bet everything, you put the dampener over something that needs to move.

I'm going to get back into the door today and check for that. But other than the two cables that connect to the door panel, what moves? I have far less dampening material on the inner door. Basically none over the plastic covering. I do have quite a bit on the outer door, which is where I am worried I have covered something I shouldn't have.
