Hi all. Just ordered the WeBoost overland version. It comes with an antenna mount that connects to the t-stlot track of my Uptop roof rack. I have a couple of questions. 1st, I don't like the look of closing either a passenger door or the back hatch on the antenna wire. I was thinking of running the antenna wire in the plastic groove on the drivers side of the windshield and down into the engine bay and through the firewall. Not sure why I have not seen any pictures of this, but its appears to be a common way to route power from roof racks to the engine, could this work? 2nd, Id like to install the unit under the drivers seat. My plan is to run a 12V outlet from the battery (power tray) to this location but also have an OEM style switch in the dash to turn the We-boost on and off since its on constant 12V power. Anyone have any wiring diagrams of wiring a switch into a constant 12V outlet?

Best way to pull power is directly from the battery. Fuse it.

Put that on a relay with your in cab switch unless your switch can andke the load.
