A few weeks back my wife and youngest were in an accident that found our Mercedes being a total write-off. Luckily there were no major injuries and all were safe. It was however our only vehicle. I had looked at 4Runners a few times in the past and we needed a larger vehicle so I jumped on the opportunity to finally pick one up.

The day I picked it up

I have been running through all of the threads on here trying to learn as much as I can as I come from a car background and have only briefly owned a couple Jeeps Cherokees in the past but not that I cared about, they were just trades I took on cars I sold.

So far all I've done is add the black out emblems and the TRD skid plate.

I've also replaced the front lower valence that had a couple large screw holes from the license plate bracket which I'll get more into with my next post.

I thought I'd also share that while I've only ever owned two other Toyota's, one just happened to be another Super White and also my favorite car I've ever owned (just not very practical when I now have 3 kids)

I use to not be a fan of this model MR2, but now I'm kind of wanting one.

A lot of times I found myself loving the vehicles that were the ones that weren't really popular. The spyder sold in such limited numbers that I knew I wouldn't see many (a lot of people didn't even know what it was, especially since I removed the badging minus the mid ship runabout one) and when I found out there was a UK/JDM hardtop for it I fell in love. I wasn't really a convertible guy but the hardtop sold me. I had about 7k between suspension and wheels on that thing :spending:
