Water spilled on/into the switch for the heated seat. Now it turns on while in the off position.
Will this resolve itself when it drys?

I'd pull it and hit it with some CRC electrical cleaner spray and let it dry overnight

They are hella easy to remove. Or even the top of the console can be popped off in seconds. Maybe do that, and blow it out with some compressed air. Really, theres nothing to poppin the top off.

Spilled water on the heated seat switch can definitely cause some wonky behavior. It might sort itself out once it dries, but there's also a chance it could cause more problems, like short circuits or corrosion.

I spilled coffee in mine. (Fookin' idiots on Harleys need to watch where they're going.)

The switch failed closed so the heater was always on. Tried to dry it but no dice. I'm in TX so I've never had occasion to use the heater. 5 minutes to lift the console top and disconnect the switch. A new switch was 75 bucks. It bugs me that there's something on "Ol' Hoss" that doesn't work... but not $75 bucks worth...

I would say if it's been a day or longer and it doesn't work, it's prob. shot. You could pull it, put it somewhere warm for a week, then work the switch 20-50 times full on and off. That may wipe away the corrosion enough, worth a try. You can't get inside the switch easily to spray cleaner or contact cleaner like Deoxit. $75 or so new.
