Had my 02 4WD 4runner up in the mountains over the weekend, and on the last day we saw single digit temperatures. Noticed my VSC OFF/VSC TRAC lights were on, but NOT my check engine light (which I've experienced in the past, replaced gas caps, done some other emission fixes as well, and haven't dealt with that issue in a long time now). Drove it all the way back home, around 300 miles, the two lights stayed on until about halfway, when the check engine light came on as well. Went to get in it today, all lights are off and have stayed off. Wondering if anyone's experienced this/if it might be due to the cold, and if so, are there fixes I need to look into?

I urge you to get a cheapo code reader.

No one can really tell you anything until you post codes.

unfortunately the codes were gone before I could check them. the one I kept in my truck was stolen after a break in.
