I am a female, 2008 Toyota Tundra. Discovered last night my Dome light had been left on 4 days ago, truck completely dead. Had a friend come to jump it, cables were not working so he removed my battery and put it in his truck, then moved it back. I bought new jumper cables it started right up. However my VSC OFF is Flashing, Check Engine is solid and ? (Car with curvy lines behind it) is solid. Help, I have no idea what I am looking at. Also truck seems quiet and sluggish.
Any help would be so appreciated!
    Thanks so much!

Thank you, I can go down to Auto Zone, they should be able to do that correct?

While there, I would suggest having them also check the battery and charging system.

It sounds like your traction control is malfunctioning. The sluggishness could be due to the computer going into "limp" mode.

    Could be a bad sensor.

Like mentioned above, get the code pulled at an auto parts store. That should help narrow it down.

Also, definitely check the battery and charging system as @RumHamRunner73 mentioned. If the ECU isn't getting proper voltage, it could cause all kinds of weirdness.

Also check your gas cap to make sure it is on correctly or so old that it needs replacing. By the way, the car with the curvy lines is your traction or stability control light.

On most Toyotas the VSC and TRAC off lights come on "in sympathy" with the CHECK ENGINE light. If you reset the check engine light the other two will go off.
