The connector that goes into the back of the USB port is proprietary and not something that is available. You need an adapter for 14-19MY 4Runners for the grey USB connector from the back of the original head unit that goes to male USB. Crutchfield has an adapter that might work for the T9 here:

    https://www.crutchfield.com/S-sM7dbfhZEET/p_120TOYUSB/Metra-AX-TOYUSB-USB-Port-Cable.html

@08TXRunner is correct, there is no 20+MY 4Runner adapter available.

What year is your truck? If a 2020, there is no USB adapter yet that fits the OEM harness - Toyota changed it for '20.

LOL, you edited your post after I posted about the '20+ change in USB adapters - why?

I edited my answer to be more specific to the 14-19MY based on the OP's vehicle in their signature, and added the 20MY to second what you said, and so that the info so it was all in one post. :)

Not sure what the issue is... no offense was intended. :sorry:

No sweat man - just thought it was funny that you added that info to appear to have answered "first" about the 20+. I've done a complete stereo overhaul on my '20 and, as far as I know, am the only one to have done that. The only snag was that there is no USB harness to mate with the OEM harness, so I had to go with an auxiliary USB port in one of the dash blanks. I've got a full writeup on the other forum.

@08TXRunner, Lol makes sense looking at it that way, I re-edited the original post. Was just trying to consolidate, nothing more. I think I saw your thread over there at one point. You put the newer Pioneer floating head unit in right? I sent you a PM as I think I might know of a possible work around so you can reuse your OEM USB port on your 20.
