    1. My TRD Pro front speakers have rattled like crazy since day one. Toyota pulled the doors & they found that the stock foam wasn’t attached correctly from the factory. Some additional foam has removed the rattle completely.

    2. Just had tires rotated. Apparently the “hard part of the wheel” was lined up to the “hard part of the tire,” and after fixing this, the ride is night and day smoother. I thought I knew everything about tires but that surprised me. Makes me appreciate the Falken’s even more.

Open question: Either the seat belt or rear passenger seatbelt makes a constant clicking noise. I’ve searched the forums but didn’t see anything, and the dealership is also confused. Not a big deal though, and after a year of exploring out west, I’m still in love with the 4runner.

Do you drive with your seat all the way back? I use to and would hear a noise just like your describing then I found that if I went all the way back then pulled it back forward off the stop the clicking noise stopped.

Just checked the passenger seat & it was pretty far back. Moved it up & will report back, thanks for the suggestion!!

    Update -

I found the issue!! It’s actually the passenger rear grab handle that’s making all the noise. I haven’t had time to take it off, but adding some foam to put pressure on the connector has greatly reduced the clicking/creaking.

I also came across this post, which seems to be the same exact issue:
