Yesterday while driving the left turn signal was working fine.....then I started getting the FAST flashing on the dash, which indicates a light out. Sure enough the front blinker light was not working. This morning when I drove it, the same thing was happening. All of the sudden, this afternoon it started working again like normal. I promise I didn't replace the bulb! :notsure:

Any thoughts on how/why this would happen?

There’s likely a bad connection at the bulb contacts or in the socket. Take bulb out, check for corrosion on bulb and socket pins. Clean them up with fine sandpaper, a tiny bladed screwdriver, or other tool, snug up the socket pins so they grip the bulb well. Wipe off with isopropyl alcohol. Dry well and test.
You might as well get new bulbs while you’re in there.
Do not put dielectric (silicone) grease in the socket as some people may recommend. You don’t need that in an already water tight housing.

Thanks! Easy enough. I will take a look at it today.

He’s exactly right, it’s a very common issue (across vehicle in general) with a simple fix.

Also, when you remove the bulb, look at the center electrode. If it is worn, it will have a "divot" in the end and make an intermittent connection because of vibration, or bumps in the road. As a previous post said, since you are there replace the bulb with new.

As another post said, don't use dielectric. Dielectric grease is an insulator.
