OK so I know that this topic has been Asked over and over and over... But here I go again.. I'm trying to upgrade my tires. I see that people have different Results. My current setup I'm running bilstein 5100 shocks all around with old Man Emu Springs. I'm about 23 inches from hub to Fender about a little under 3 inch lift. I have total chaos upper control arms. My wheels are TRD reps 17x9 with 0 offset. I know that I'll probably need a little Fender trimming and move the Fender liner forward a little.. Guys think I'll need a body mount chop?? Planning to get falken wildpeaks 285-70-17 ..

You’ll be fine with zero offset if you had the real pro wheels which are a positive 4 you would definitely clear the cab mount, with zero you might have the tiniest bit of ribbing at full lock on reverse

get any more negative offset you’ll definitely need a cmc with pinch welds flattened

You’ll definitely rub at the fender you’ll rub a little at the cab mount, the more you move your caster forward the more you move the tire away from the cab mount but the problem is you move it closer to your front fender liner

I have 285 70 17 wildpeaks with the trd pro wheels and after alignment on reverse full lock and my sloped angled driveway I was touching the cab mount by literally a cunt hair and my fender liner was rubbing on the drivers side so I didn’t want to do the heat gun trick since I want everything to look oem so I was able to push the liner about an inch in with a bolt and looks completely factory and now I don’t rub anywhere whatsoever on any angle or articulation etc

if I ever get like negative 10 offset wheels then for sure I’ll absolutely rub at my cab mount
Also wildpeaks usually run larger than a lot of other brands as well

I had -38 offset with spacers and same size wheels. I cut front fender liner smashed back the thing behind wheel.(sorry forgot name). I had to get a BMC and got a allignment to push wheels forward a bit. I def didnt get a high enough lift but looks so good. I got around 2.5 lift.
