    Hi all,

I know the stock Pro wheels + stock size AT tire's rubbing at stock height for non Pro's and Pro's having the fender liner mod completed at the port has been covered in numerous threads before.

That said, I am curious - there are a lot of packages across various regions of Toyota NA that sell the TRD Pro wheels + AT's across SR5 and non pro TRD trims. Do these also have the fender liner mod done at port before delivery? Apologies if this has been answered before, I couldn't find in search.

Just picked up another 4Runner - 2022 TRDORP. Came with the package that included Pro wheels on Terra Grapplers here in TX and no rubbing.

I swear I've seen somewhere (either in this forum or another) that fender liners are trimmer at port for 4runners with the TRD Pro wheels. I too am interested as I have an OR Premium with the Pro wheels which came with the Bridgestones—I switched those out with ATs (Falken Wildpeaks) and have not heard any rubbing.

I thought I saw something in the past as well, but I've scoured the search function and couldn't find anything. Hopefully someone with definitive info can chime in. Common sense would tell me that if they trim for Pro's strictly due to the more aggressive wheel offset, that they would also do it for any other spec Runner that gets delivered to the customer with the Pro wheels. I'd be curious to see photos of those with the "mod" and those without. That alone would confirm it for me but I haven't had luck finding that either.

Bump - anyone have a definitive answer here by chance? OR - anyone with a Pro that can share a picture if their fender liner/bumper with the factory mod completed?

To confirm, your non pro came with pro wheels and had the mod done prior to delivery?

Yes, that is correct. Also prior to delivery they installed the Readylift 3/2 spacer lift with 285’s.
I have since had the lift and 285’s removed and installed 265’s. Same type of tires.

Got a close up pic of your fender liner and bumper by chance?

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Mine is a pro, it came with the trim done at port. If you look closely at the front wheel well of a pro model, it has a slight cut line on the front lines, seen only from inside the wheel well looking forward. The pro wheels and pro badging, etc. are put on at port, so those non-pro models that are spec'd up with different packaging may very well have the fenders cut at port. But if the add-ons are done at the dealership, the fender cut may not occur.

Bump a very old thread, but was it ever discovered if the port trims all 4Runners with added pro wheels?
