I've loved 4Runners for a long time and just bought my first one this weekend. Our family spends a lot of time in the mountains and I imagine with 4WD and these snow + mud tires, I'll be alright most of the time...but it's probably smart to have some chains in the truck for chain checks and icy conditions up and down the Eastern Sierras. Any good suggestions on which chains are the best?

My 4Runner is an Off-Road Premium with TRD Pro wheels and BF Goodrich Baja Champion knobby tires, size LT 265 / 70 / R17. I spoke to someone who said I needed to size-up on chains to fit the knobbies. Is that right?

    Thanks!
