Is it safe to run a TRD Pro roof rack through an automatic non-touchless car wash with rollers?

I'm surprised I can't find the answer in a search. Or Google. Or YouTube.

This is my first vehicle with a roof rack of any kind. I assume it's not safe, but honestly have no idea.

I prefer not to use these for the sake of the paint but do believe it's a better trade-off than leaving salt on it and the undercarriage.

Thanks for any suggestions. I'm 50/50 on getting a delete kit just removing the roof rack, but the procedure for that looks very not fun.

Welcome. It would really depend on the car wash. For the most part, it should be ok. However, there is always that chance that something can go wrong. I would be more worried about what it will do to your paint.

Thanks all, yeah I'm not huge on using them, but I'll still prefer them to leaving salt on the vehicle.
