TRD PRO GRILLE ON SR5

for my fellow members that have 5th gen 4runner sr5's and converting to trd pro front face lift haves this problem i am having.? i installed the upper grille on my sr5 and notice that 2 inner tabs on the grille doesn't have a spot on the bumper where it would go into? like the outer ones. look at the 2 circles in the pic.

 

I just installed same grill on mine. The two inner tabs sit on top. They dont have a slot like the two outer tabs. So two inner are on top of that plastic piece and two outer go underneath in slot.

 

Hmm. I don't think I had that problem. Able to just cut them?

 

Okay that how it sits now, maybe the pro/trail haves those slots. it just doesn't make sense, i supposed check my pro bumper in the shed and confirm if it does have those 2 extra slots.

 

i can but rather not as of now, untill i confirm pro bumper
