Looking for some input! Have an ORP coming and considering adding the TRD-Black Wheel Package.

What tires does this come with?

1340.00 seems a bit steep for just the wheels, lugnuts and wheel locks. In the picture on Toyotas build site it shows the Terra Grapplers that come on the PRO in the picture for the wheels, but I am hearing mixed info.

I apologize if this info is elsewhere, I searched and couldn't get what I wanted. Thanks in advance!

KO2s and a bunch of crap from Amazon
My 22 ORP came with the black TRD wheels and Dunflop Grandtreks. I put KO2s on them. I did not like the stock tires, same ones that came on my Tacoma years ago.

I don't think you get the Terra Grapplers for the $1340 "TRD Wheel" package.... It may come with "upgraded" tires, but not the Terra Grapplers.

When I was searching for mine, I seem to remember an additional package that was advertised as "TRD Wheel and All Terrain Tire" package, where you could get both the Nitto Terra Grapplers and TRD Wheels as an option on lower-than-Pro trim levels, but it may have just been a dealership or regional offering? Many times the upgraded off road wheels are added on as part of a larger package, like an XP Predator package (southern regional offering) that includes blackout package, Pro Grill add-on package, etc... for a very large uncharge.

I ended up with a Pro, so I got what I wanted as standard, but was searching for an ORP prior to the Pro coming up at MSRP and if you look in different regions, you'll find Off Roads and ORPs that the region or dealership upgrades and outfits as an enticement to buy from them. Here's a look at the "XP Predator" Package from Southern Dealerships:

    https://toyotaxseries.com/4runner-xp-predator/

It's one way to get a "Pro Look" without all the added luxury items that come with a pro (remote start, dual zone climate controls, etc...) at a price that is only slightly below the MSRP of an actual Pro. However, you DO get to retain a couple of items that you can't get on a Pro... i.e. the sequential mirror turn signals, and "normal" roof rack, this way.

Dealer installed Pro rims with 285-70-17 LT Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 18’ SR5.

    Very happy with the setup.

I got the “off-road upgrade package” on mine instead and it came with trail rails, TRD wheels, Nittos, black overlays, and maybe a couple of other cosmetics.

The "off road upgrade package" is the Gulf States Toyota ( controls the Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma market) version of the "XP Predator Package" offered by the Toyota group in the Southeast, not sure who controls the offerings in Missouri but the OP will need local input for sure

And to benefit the OP's question, if I'm not mistaken, this is an approximately $5500 package, correct? For the Wheels, Tires, Predator Steps, Pro Grille and blackout badging... right?

Based on pricing from the Toyota web site on options/accessories,
That means the Black TRD Pro Wheels are a $1309 option
The Predator steps are a $649 option
the blackout badging is a $160 option...

Black TRD Pro Wheels (OEM, not aftermarket) = $190-225 each - lets just say you can get a full set for $1000 INCLUDING the center caps and lug nuts.
Nitto Terra Grapplers (265-70 17) aftermarket go for about a grand ($1000)
And you can get TRD Pro Grille parts all day from several aftermarket providers for $200....
Blackout Badging kits go for about $50-75 depending on where you get them...
We can just leave the Predator Steps at the $650 price above, since that's what you pay to get a new set from the dealer.... but you CAN find them frequently for sale here for large discount!.

That adds up to $2975.... so if you want all those and don't mind installing them yourself, you could save $2500... not to mention that you could sell the "take-off" tires and wheels for $750-800 EASILY here or on line, and push that savings up to over $3K or more.

If it were me, however, I would opt for actually frame-mounted sliders/steps, however, and not body-mounted running boards like the Predators. The rest of that package is pretty nice, but just way overpriced for what you're getting, in my opinion.

    Just sayin'....
