When coming to a quick stop, like when a traffic light changes & you have to stop quickly, thereis a feeling like I am being rear ended after the stop is complete. I am thinking the overdrive is kicking down but it is happening more often & I have never experienced this before. Any idea’s?

Have you tried greasing the zerks? I would get a clunk like that sometimes that goes away when I grease them.

Classic example of "you need to grease the slip yoke". Might as well hit the U joints while you are there.
