I have a 01 4runner had a issue start a couple of weeks ago runs and drives good but every once in awhile I'll stop at a stop sign and go to leave and it will be like the it's in neutral for a couple of seconds then it will be fine I was wondering if it means trans is junk or if I have a shift solenoid going bad any input would be appreciated

I too have a similar issue.... The ?trans/transfercase wants to engage? when traveling at low speed. It grinds and bumps. If I put it in 4WD it stops.
