Transmission Cooler Solution

Just a FYI: Iconic Fab has a trans cooler solution for 5th gens.

Nice find. I didn't want to install mine with the push pins and had to create a bracket.

I'll likely be adding one and a PS fluid cooler after this summer. Once I move up past 285s I may need them...

 

I'm trying to decide if I need the temp bypass since I'm in derpifornia. We do have some 39 degree days in the morning and snow in the mountains.

 

What's the installation like on these? Not the bracket but the actual transmission cooler.

 

Basically some rubber hoses since there is the OEM cooler in the radiator already. I would leave the OEM one in use and just use this extra cooler as a supplement.

I'm thinkin that since I live in temperate Northern California I wouldn't need a bypass... I could definitely see it if I lived in Iowa...
